There’s nothing we love more than a self-care Sunday. It’s the human equivalent of pressing the reset button, leaving us feeling content, rejuvenated, and ready to tackle the brand-new week ahead. More than just a wellness industry buzzword, self-care is your opportunity to take care of your mental, emotional, and physical health. 

So, grab yourself a brew, sit back, and take five to read up on six self-care rituals to incorporate into your routine this Sunday. Go on, you deserve it. 


DEVELOP A SUNDAY RITUAL

My self care ritual involves..waking up early. Early rising is when the atmosphere is the most peaceful. Husband and children are sleeping. Take time to look at the beautiful sun as it rises. Or take the time to meditate or workout. Later that day I would plan to take a long bubble bath.

I love baths as it is a great way to unwind. Soaking in an Epsom salt bath after a workout is great for your muscles. I like to bring my candles into the bathroom and relax while watching YouTube videos or listening to music. I often throw on a favorite facemask and stay in the tub extra long.


Perhaps my favorite part of my entire Sunday routine is snuggling up in my comfy clothes and fuzzy blankets with a good book. After a bath, I am so warm, cozy and relaxed. So catching up on some reading in order to maintain my yearly reading goals is an ideal way to waste away a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. If you have even a little time to put aside on a Sunday to make reading a part of your Sunday routine I promise it will make you so happy.
